Enhanced Scheduler Display with Custom Client/Location Field Information

Description:

A customer has suggested an enhancement for the visibility of custom client and location field information within our scheduling system. This feature aims to address the current limitation where users cannot view this information directly in the scheduler without editing the job. Implementing this enhancement would significantly improve efficiency and ease of access to important job details.

Details:

  • Issue Identification: Users are currently unable to view custom client or location field information in the scheduler until a job is edited. This limitation can hinder quick access to critical job details.

  • Proposed Solution: Introduce a feature that allows users to select specific custom client or location fields to be displayed in the job hover-over popup within the scheduler. This would provide immediate visibility of essential information.

  • Implementation Mechanics: An additional checkbox titled 'Show In Schedule' could be introduced, similar to the existing 'Show In Search' checkbox for these fields. This would enable users to customize which information is displayed in the scheduler.

  • User Portal Specific: This enhancement would be applicable only within the User Portal, aligning with the current system architecture and user experience.

Benefits:

  • Quick Access to Information: Users can swiftly view important job details directly in the scheduler, enhancing productivity.

  • Customizable Display: The ability to select which fields are visible allows for a personalized and relevant scheduler view, tailored to individual user needs.

  • Improved Job Management: This feature would streamline the process of managing and overseeing jobs, reducing the need for multiple steps to access key information.
