Edit Asset Card through Form Asset Table
Having the ability to click on the “i” icon on the left hand side of each individual asset in a form asset table, and rather than this just showing you the asset information, also being able to edit the asset information from here too.

A possible way to achieve this is by using a Form Action to update the Asset Card based on the information entered into the Form Asset Table. This means that when users add or update asset-related details in the form, those values can be pushed back to the linked asset record automatically.
While the “i” icon currently provides a view of the asset information rather than direct editing from that screen, using a Form Action can help keep the Asset Card updated with the information captured during form completion.
This can be a useful way to streamline asset updates without needing to manually edit each asset record separately.

That’s actually the opposite of what we want. We want the asset non-editable in the table view, but editable in a detail view. For the size of tables we use having the cells being editable while trying to scroll through them is unwieldly, and accidental edits are a given. I’d really like to have a non-editable customizable condensed list view of the assets that is easier to skim through on the mobile app, that can be opened into a detail view for editing by selecting or barcode scanning.
