Forms: Ability to Preview Form in Form Builder

Objective:

Enhance the Form Builder functionality by allowing users to preview their webforms and PDFs directly from the builder. This will enable testing of dropdowns, links, hide/unhide functions, and other interactive elements, improving the user experience during form creation.

Feature Details:

• Real-Time Preview:

  • Add a "Preview" button within the Form Builder that allows users to test dropdown selections, links, hide/unhide functions, and conditional fields.

  • Users can switch between previewing the Webform and the PDF versions of the form to ensure both formats function as intended.

  • This preview functionality would allow users to interact with the form as if they were the end-user, providing a more thorough testing environment before publishing.

• Interactive Testing:

  • Users will be able to test conditional logic (e.g., hide/unhide fields), verify dropdowns, and check that hyperlinks function as expected, all within the preview mode.

  • Forms can be tested for both desktop and mobile views to ensure responsiveness and user-friendliness.

• Link Tool Tips to Knowledge Base:

  • Add linked tool tips throughout the builder interface to guide users, linking directly to relevant knowledge base articles for quick reference.

  • Tool tips should cover functions such as adding conditional logic, using dropdown fields, and configuring field visibility.
